I am curious...did most people here use a consultant/representative, or did you fill out the application yourselves? We did it ourselves, and did a lot of printing!!

How long did it take before you got information from your MP? And hopefully this doesn't matter, but what party is your MP?

I want to wait until the 1 year mark before I go the MP route...but to better prepare myself, how did you contact your MP? Email, phone call, or did you go in person? What exactly did you say to get them to look into this for you? Any information is appreciated.

Additional documents were requested in late October. Since then, no information.

It is a very frustrating process. I have not traveled over to see my wife in over a year, because I believed that we would be living together soon. But now I am making plans to go in June...otherwise I have no idea when I will see her next. We are coming close to a year since the application...

I am just curious, are you sponsoring any children as well? I am at 10 months, and no interaction since the end of October. I am also sponsoring two children along with my wife. I have heard that Children slow down the process.
