good point, ski. since you can only get GCMS notes once a month (and it shows information that is at least three weeks old), you can only get some useful information if you're lucky to order them in a specific window of time. So really, there's not much to do besides waiting patiently. :)

It is more useful than ECAS (which you have now) because it shows when your background check has started and seems to be more frequently updated. Do you have a representative? If yes, then you can't link your application to MyCIC.

I sent my RPRF three months after applying via CSE (ant mailed it to VO with the rest of additional documents), it was acknowledged in GCMS notes and I'm positive it did not delay the process.

I believe they don't reject without asking for additional proof first, so you should be good. :)

You don't need to have another ceremony in Canada. Include your Belgian marriage certificate with translation (notarized) in your application package and it will be just fine.
