Woah congrats rashu. I hope ur processing goes quick. How did they inform you abt aor1. my application was filed on april 20th. I am hoping to get mine soon too but i have no means of checking it except for receipt number of the fees lol. Cheers!

Yea I figured I will have to wait for AOR. My application was delivered by Canada post on april 20th. So i am guessing I will need to wait for AOR and SA. btw, how do they communicate AOR1? Email or post? Thank youuuu!

How do we access the online application status after submission of application? I mean i do have my receipt number but nothing checks off. Just have to wait for SA or AOR1 to get a id number? :S

Sent in my application 3 days ago. Still showing out for delivery by Canada post. But they said they delivered it already. So how do ppl receive their application filed receipt or however they inform you?

Thank you for the suggestions everyone. I will redo the forms that are not signed and can be done but the ones with barcode ones since wife has already signed them n printed them i won't make the change. I read in other forums that the changes are almost nothing. Thanks everyone! :)

Hey there Drkdd, I think you seem to fill all the requirements for a TRV application. And since you have already filed for your spousal just put together all the proofs and apply for a trv giving them strong reasons. A rejection won't hurt your application. And if anything you can try for TRV...

Hello Guys, Is it a good idea to file for my wife's TRV before I even file her sponsorship paper. Will that have an effect on her sponsorship in case it gets rejected :S?

I am currently putting together documents of my wife to file for sponsorship. I was wondering if I could apply for TRV before I even file for her sponsorship? Any suggestions anyone.

You know honestly, I thought of doing that but then several people said if it gets rejected it will effect her PR application. So I didn't. And now its too late, wedding is in 2 weeks. And it will be a hassle putting things together to apply now since I am her only family friend here. Oh well...

I am really sorry to hear that, did you follow the typical paper requirements that other users mentioned for applying for TRV? I might be applying for TRV too next year after my wedding, just want to make sure I do it right.
