Not to freak you out, but as far as I am aware the regular working holiday visa has no implied status that allows you to continue working. It only allows you to stay as visitor. Thats because the Wokring holiday visa is not extendable for most countries.

Do some research, use the tools on the CIC website. And the important questions are: are you a Permanent resident or canadian citizien or what is your status currently? As said before your employment status most likely does not matter

I strongly believe existing applications are exempt, as they will have enough to do with all new applications from now forward and need to get everything up and running. With the delays in processing as they are I highly doubt they will go back and make everyone from June till December submit...

Yeah missing fee (which wasnt true i paid it all they just didnt see the reciepts were split) and missing signature (clearly my fault but at least it was theirs too haha)

Not sure. Some of them just had to wait 5 months for their owp because cic was so swamped. Mine was returned and I had to resubmit it in September. So now I’m hoping it moves along fast

there was movement in the delayed june cases so hopefully it will just be one big batch tomorrow...

Literally the same day you get the OWP in the mail. You just walk into a service canada center and wait like 10 minutes if its not too busy and you got it.

In theory it is valid from the moment it is issued so that means approved. But you will need the paper to get your SIN to be able to work. So you most likely will have to wait

I second that please update the spreadsheet because people like me check it constantly to see where things are at. As I resubmitted OWP in Sept I hope that my OWP will be going through this or next week too. They were swift with August

Im in the same boat as a June applicant. And the only hope I can give you is that things are moving along faster now and july and especially august OWPs went through pretty smoothly and quick. seems like they are back to the seven- eight weeks mark. So if we are lucky we should see them before...

It just means its not guaranteed that you can re-enter. Neither does the TRV though. NO Visa actually does except when you become PR. Everything else they reserve the right to deny you reentry because you might not meet eligibility anymore. Like not having insurance or enough funds. I had no...
