One immigration lawyer told me that as long as I have income and bank statements stating funds in Canada, I should apply parent visa. He told that canada is stamp free country and as long as I am PR holder it does not matter where I live. I am confused if that will risk the chances.

yes, I have NOA and T4 stating that I meet income requirement. However on these the address is written as USA address as I was in USA when I filed the taxes this year.
