As far as I know you can enter as a visitor .... You don't have to validate your pr right away. However the officer will definitely be able to see your pr is approved, so be prepared that they may ask you questions

I got a piece of paper with "permanent residents photographe specifications" as the title but there's nth on the paper says how many pics I need, it just says provide the correct num of photos specified in ur application guide...that's y I'm so confused

Congrats to u too. I think either way your good. I was there as visitor as well, I brought lots of stuffs n they were ok with it. Btw, did you receive the pr photo spec? It didn't have any instructions on it, do you know if we are supposed to bring the photos with us?

Just checked my mailbox, finally got COPR!!!!!!!!!! No ppr needed!!!! I was gonna go to Canada next month as a visitor, now I can enter there as pr! So happy, the wait is finally over!!!

Ecas Changed to Decision Made today!! Hopefully ppr or copr soon ;D

What did they say on the letter/email? Did they specifically request for RCMP or Hong Kong no criminal record ? I basically have the similar timeline on ecas and they specifically asked for Hong Kong no criminal record. I was in Canada for 14 yrs and I didn't need to provide rcmp record.

Received GCMC notes, it says security not started but criminality is in progress . What does it mean? I thought they are the same thing. N anyone know how long will it take?
