    CIT 0520 after citizenship test

As far as I know i am not slated to see any judges, I had 1142 days when I applied. The sticking issue is my entry/exit from the U.S which I was told could take up to 18 months, so I guess the officer in charge does not want to move forward without that document.

Yes since January 2015 (see my timeline below).

    CIT 0520 after citizenship test

I intend to do just that. I am so upset at these people that I am not going to be nice on the phone. I need an explanation as to why this case it approaching 4 years in processing which is completely unbelievable in a developed country.

    CIT 0520 after citizenship test

Power to you Ryan, I really wanted to command you for taking these steps to sue these incoherent, incompetent and useless people over at CIC. This is really what we all need to do, it is completely unacceptable to hold one's citizenship application forever. The culture at CIC is so that the less...

    2011 and 2012 Applicants

Very interesting...may I ask what they asked you in the 2 CIT0520? I was first asked to provide my Record of Employments, Tax Assessments, Health Records, Leases and then sometimes in March I was asked to provide my Entry/Exit records from the U.S which is where things are now stuck.

    2011 and 2012 Applicants

This could be good news. What was the additional documents about? did you receive CIT0520 or a request for additional documents?

    Withdrawing a Citizenship Application

Hi janoo, Thanks for your reply. CIC said they would try to clear all cases by the end of the fiscal year which is March 2016, so we still have quite a long time to go. If the past is any indication, I would say CIC always go past their deadlines, so I would not be surprised if by December 2016...

    Withdrawing a Citizenship Application

Thank you so much for this information. I do meet all the requirements for the new law and I have only travelled once for 10 days in the last 4 years and no trip to the U.S so that could really make a big difference. I agree the $630 makes you wonder if one should re-apply and the whole process...

    Withdrawing a Citizenship Application

Hi all, I am seriously considering withdrawing my application for Canadian Citizenship and put in a new one. I really don't have any hope that this will be resolved anytime soon so I really need to seriously consider that option. One question though: is it possible to put in a second...

    CBP records for US Citizen?

Good luck my friend. I am in the same boat. I submitted the I-94 report and they told me it was not sufficient so I made the FOIA request and I was told by a CBP officer that it takes anywhere from 6 to 18 months. This is why my application is now stuck. I sent CIC a letter explaining them that...

    2011 and 2012 Applicants

I hear you, it is a shame though and unfortunately have no choice but to wait and maybe one day we will get the oath letter.

    2011 and 2012 Applicants

Probably because I travelled to the U.S at least 4 times. But these guys over at CIC are so narrow minded that anyone that travels to the U.S is "suspect" which is ridiculous. Every member in my family is a Canadian citizen including my wife that I sponsored to come here. How do you understand that?

    After 5 Years...Rejected!!!!!

You could not have said it better! It is unbelievable that they would make someone wait 5 years and then tell them they are short of 58 days. Let us remember that we are dealing with a bunch of incompetent and lazy people at CIC and the fact is that they CANNOT FOR SURE KNOW THAT YOU ARE SHORT...

    After 5 Years...Rejected!!!!!

So sorry to hear that. If I were you I would re-apply as new applications are processed so much faster, you would for sure get your citizenship within on year and if you are lucky maybe within 6 to 8 months. With the Judicial review you can almost be certain that it would be rejected again as...

    2011 and 2012 Applicants

I could not agree more with you. I am completely hopeless and I am not optimistic as to when you could expect some good news. I received my ATIP today and there is absolutely nothing new. It looks the officer is still waiting on that entry/exit record that I won't probably receive until maybe...

    CIT 0520 after citizenship test

Congratulations! for new applications like yours the process is completely different. New applications are processed very very fast even those that receive RQs and CIT0520 as opposed to 2010/2011/2012 applicants. Some of us have been waiting for more than 50 months so I am not hopeful that these...

    CIT 0520 after citizenship test

I ordered my atip on May 26 so I am hoping to get it very soon. It would be terrible if we have to wait until the end of July to receive our report. I won't be surprised at anyway given the fact that CIC is really not doing anything these days.

Oath Timeline after test at St. Clair Office

There are still a lot of people that applied in 2011 and early 2012 that are still waiting :) There is no logic behind anything CIC does. quote author=ItkExpert link=topic=183755.msg4397306#msg4397306 date=1434389336] Congrats ! We have a similar timelines. Looks like they are now working on...

    2011 and 2012 Applicants

I really hope so too but there nothing much going on now at CIC, it looks like they are all on vacation. The very few that are getting oath these days are scheduled for early July which makes me think that they are not scheduling many oaths for the summer season. Unfortunately we could be on...

    2011 and 2012 Applicants

I am supposed to receive my ATIP around June 26 but I am not too hopeful that I will find anything new. Let us remember that ATIPs are printed usually the same day you make the request so by the time you receive it it may might not be the most up to date information.
