    Parents and Grandparents Sponsorship 2019

Did you provide them an email address in your application? If you did then all communication will be sent electronically to that email, especially if you are their representative. MyGC account is also quite accurate, the panel will indicate if there is any message/mail sent to you and include an...

    Parents and Grandparents Sponsorship 2019

Thank you for your help, that put me at ease. I got confused since I checked on the Canadian government website and got a similar email address for this visa office but without the word "immigration" in it. It could just be an address for general inquiries. I will send the documents via email...

    Parents and Grandparents Sponsorship 2019

Hello fellow applicants, I just received a request for PCC and was a bit confused about how to send the copy. The request email mentioned "send to this office in one envelope". I assumed that meant snail mail. However, at the end of the email, it also included this line, "all responses should...

    Parents and Grandparents Sponsorship 2019

I believe calgary17 covered all your questions for me. A lot of people made mistakes on the interest to sponsor form. But now you are aware of a crucial information that your FIL must be included in the application and therefore counted toward the family size. For your MIL case, your FIL is...

    Parents and Grandparents Sponsorship 2019

#1 Your father-in-law is considered as a dependant to your mother-in-law. Note the "including spouse" part. He needs to be listed as such and counted toward the number of sponsored people (i.e. 2). This does not matter even if he has no intension to come to Canada. I hope you included him in...

    Parents and Grandparents Sponsorship 2019

    1) There is no requirement to submit NOA if you provide IRCC with your SIN. The document checklist clearly stated this, which probably made you come to the conclusion mentioned in your post. 2) Noone knows at this point and time. Even the timeline to receive AOR is still a blur. However, there...

    Parents and Grandparents Sponsorship 2019

There are couple reasons, 1. Your application is not in the system yet. Even if you send the form, they will be confused and likely will not be able to link your form to your application package (which is probably in a pile with hundreds of others). 2. When they contact you first, they will...

    Parents and Grandparents Sponsorship 2019

As far as I know, AOR is the official, if not the only, way of knowing if your application is completed.

    Refusal of Supervisa

Does it work differently for self-employed? I thought receiving a t4 means you work for someone else. Why didn't the amount on t4 match with NOA?

    Refusal of Supervisa

You can try and apply for her as a visitor but now she will have to show sufficient fund for travel related expense and ties to her home country. You can include an invite letter to help the case. Good luck! As for minimum income requirement, you always have to include the person you want to...

    Parents and Grandparents Sponsorship 2019

No, it is for super visa, not a TRV. I prepared the application for her. She has her passport for a while before she applied for the super visa. Her passport is still valid 4 years beyond the visa period allowance.

    Parents and Grandparents Sponsorship 2019

Her passport is valid way beyond the visa they give. That's why I find it a bit strange that she got such a short time. Did your mom voluntarily go for the medical exam or was it requested during the processing of her application?

    Parents and Grandparents Sponsorship 2019

For my mom's super visa she did not undergo medical exam. I don't know if that's the reason they only gave her 3 years instead of the 10 year visa as per the website.

Lost expired passport; going to take a citizenship test soon

It is what it is at this point. You should have making sure you have the physical passport before submitting the application in the beginning. With regard to being issued an RQ, no one can say for sure. It totally depends on the officer who check your application. Worrying is no use at this...

    Deadline for permanent settlement

Unfortunately, one doesn't have much choices. As far as I know, only driver license, passport (not expired), PR card will be accepted. Even health card is denied now and I encountered that problem multiple times. I myself only have driver license to be considered as an ID. If they need two, then...

    Deadline for permanent settlement

Well, the law might not explicitly say so but your expired PR card can also get denied as being invalid.

    Deadline for permanent settlement

    1. Even if you don't get reported, you have to live for at least a year with an expired PR card. This will give you problems if you try use it as an ID or somehow get involved with IRCC.

    Citizenship test place

I think you just have to take the risk if you want to submit your application now. If you happen to move earlier than expected, then you have to submit a file transfer request and hope for it to be approved. I read about a couple cases on here where people had to fly out for test/interview and...

For the webform response they have 10 business days to do so. You should wait till it passes to request the information again. I sent a webform inquiry before and they responded on the 9th business day.
