Hi adogtiger! I saw you on the Feb 2016 OUTLAND spreadsheet. Did you send your application directly to HKVO or Mississauga? Have you received SA yet? My timeline is similar to yours, I got SA today and was told my application got transferred to HKVO.

But I already applied as OUTLAND. My application got transferred to Hong Kong, my concern now is once I leave Canada to go to interview (hopefully waived) in Hong Kong, can I come back in Canada? My status at that time will be visitor.

why was I told if I leave Canada, I cannot come back? I am being sponsored OUTLAND, but I am physically in Canada. I was told after my work permit is expired, I can apply for a visitor status, but the thing is that I cannot leave Canada whatsoever.

Just received SA today and was told application transferred to HKVO. I am physically in Canada already but our immigration consultant said it would be better to apply as outland b/c there was a big chance that my application would be transferred to CPC-ottawa, which takes shorter time...

Received SA today! and was told application got transferred to HKVO.... I am currently in Canada with my husband, we sent out our application to Mississauga office, thought it would be processed in Ottawa office. The timeline for HKVO is just too long...

Congrats! Mine reached Mississauga on Feb 23 and AOR received on Mar 22.
