Dear all i am planning to land in Canada this October. i would like to know tht ways to transfer funds there. wht is the process of declaration of funds other than cash. and is it ok if we open a foreign currency account and transfer the money from it. i am from Pakistan. thanx!

thanx rizmayo for ur suggestion. :) it does make a difference if we r put on a higher income bracket but in a well documented tax regime like tht of Canada it is next to impossible to declare ur networth anything other than wht it is actually unless u want to keep some assets back in ur home...
