There won't be any update to CIC account. They will send you to your personal email ID which is available in your profile.

If you go with the general meaning of the wording, then I'll agree with whatever you mentioned. But that is not the fact that it is happening and best example my case. Rest is upto you how you take it. :D

There is nothing to worry. BG process depends on various things and we shouldn't compare our timelines with anyone because every application is unique. As long as we are not hearing anything, we can safely assume that our things are moving smoothly. Keep up your paitence and you'll get your turn...
