I should be clear that I’m not serious about this being tied to getting a test invite. While it was indeed spooky that I got the email so soon after doing the survey, I’m 100% sure that it’s just a coincidence.

Ha! After the false alarm survey email yesterday, I finally got the one I was waiting for today! So, my details for the tracker are: Test Invite: July 6th Test Date: August 2nd 87 days In Process at time of invite. Woo-hooo!

It's legit. The email comes from an @cic.gc.ca address, and the survey is hosted on voxco.com (check their clients page here - http://www.voxco.com/our-clients/ - scroll down and you'll see that the Canadian government has contracts with them in a number of departments).

I can't remember exactly because I did it a few years ago now, but I think I only had to put the months down and not the actual dates. I copied the details from my PR application because they basically ask the same question on that.
