I got PR status in December and when I contacted CRA they strongly recommended to file the tax return even for residence in Canada that was less than a month for a year.

You can choose both, but the carrier address is more recommended, as they will sign it and you'll get the proof of delivery.

They never ask for sin card. I brought it with me just in case and the agent didn't even look at it, said it was not needed.

Does he have other proof of continuous residence?

When we had our test in Mississauga office we were not given the oath letter either, we received the invite in mail 2 weeks after our test date.

Submit the available Option C, and attach the letter of explanation of the reason why you cannot submit the most recent Option C, also add any other the proof of your income in 2013 - like pay stubs, investments, etc.

When did you send the requested docs? Have you received the AOR?

We applied in May 2010, Doc request August 2013, Sent the requested docs August 2013, AOR received September 2013... Silence since then...

Will the temporary residence time (working or visitors status) before becoming PR actually count towards the residency requirements?
