how to find out where your file is.

anyone knows why my Iranian friends (May-2016) got requests from CIC to send in updates of their personal history? Does that happen to anyone? They were waiting for DM but suddenly got this request which might delay the application for another few months.

2016 June 02 applicant. MR completed upfront on May 04 2017. Received MR notice in June 2017. Now waiting for Background change...

Agree. While we enjoy the summer those CIC staff do as well~ Just need to be patient.

exact thing occurred to me as well. I guess it's nothing but a system bug for that message generated. Anyway after a couple days you should be getting email for passing medical and updates on your CIC and ECAS for medical results. Don't worry.

Are you EE applicant?

So if I see someone has NOC code does it mean s/he is a EE applicant? Shouldn't all EE applicants be internet-based?

Excuse me but how long did it take you from Medial Past to BG change? Thanks. I had my Medical past on June 8. I guess another three months of waiting before seeing any change on CIC.

Well I do think you have a big chance to land your PR before that. But no one in this forum would guarantee nothing because it's call case specific. Also between your expiration date of WP and your landing date there is a three month "implied status". Try contact CIC and ask for this as you may...
