I applied inland before and lucky us they didn't ask mine or my husband for RCMP check..but I did passed NBI and police clearance from HK.. and I got my confirmation of permanent residence last May 9,2012

I'm just curious,I thought if you apply outland you have to wait for your PR outland,bec.they will pass all the documents to your visa office...

sometimes they updated the ecas first before you receive the letter and they didn't tell you anything specific in ecas,only the basic.. maybe the request is on the way now..hope for the best...

just send the photocopy and reprint some picstures because in my case they didn't return my documents or any pictures..

mine I didn't get police clearance from RCMP,but I passed my NBI..I got my confirmation of PR already... but my friend she got her RCMP as well as her NBI and the other countries she stayed for at least 6 months.. just get both,anyway there's nothing wrong if you pass both,...

what category did you apply? I applied last Oct. 2010 got my landed last May 9,2012,inland application under family sponsorship..I took longer bec. I have daughter overseas and it took longer to finish her documents and medical.. hopefully you will get it now...

gather all the documents you need,the more pictures,letters,names and phone numbers of friends to suppport your relationship and letters from friends too..or some documents addressed to both of you will be a good idea too.. I applied mine last Oct.2010 with lots of missing documents at that...

show them you're receipt..or write a letter and put a photo copy of your receipt..unless you pay for yourself alone and the application is for you and your wife..but if it's only for yourself then just sent the photocopy..
