So I have been offered a position by BC Public Service, however before I can start I have to show proof of my permanent residency. On March 26th I received a letter that a decision was made, and that I should hear back from the office in Vancouver to officially grant the landing document. I faxed a letter to the Vanouver office in order to speed up the process, and on April 10th, I was contacted by someone who told me that they would try to get this done asap given it was an emergency. Does anyone know what is the average amount of time it takes from the vegreville decision to the official landing interview at the local cic office. I have seen some ppl on here say 7 wks, some 8 wks around Oct of last yr. Anyone know for sure as far as currently?
