I think it's a great sign that you now see 'in process'. I believe the next email you get will be your PPR!

Monikita, I think that's really good news! Following other VO threads, you should get your PR soon! Does your ecas status now say 'in process'?? Did you get an email from them stating your change in status? Or only your online status changed? Thanks and congrats :)

I sent a status inquiry email to Vienna. I never received an auto generated confirmation email? The email I sent my inquiry to is vienn-visa@international.gc.ca Is this the email you used to contact VO?

You can use either, both Sponsor and Principal Applicant show the same information; only difference is the mailing addresses. Tipha, you're right. I don't pay much attention to e-cas. It hasn't proven to be very reliable in Stage 2 of this process. I was just curious to know if anyone does see...

Does anyone see 'In Process' under Principal Applicant? Or is it still 'Application Received'? Our file is still 'Application Received' since Sponsorship Approval, May 9, 2012.

Hi Guerrich, My understanding is that within these '3 months' the VO should have contacted you (based on all the other PR members previous to 2012). Within these 3 months, they would have assessed your file and asked for additional documents, missing documents, payments, interview etc. Best...

Does anyone know if Monikita was able to get a status inquiry response from Vienna? Her file has been with them the longest from our group. I'm right behind her, it will be 3 months next week, so I'm waiting to send an email in regards to a status update...;)

I received out GCMS notes today. According to the notes, from May 9 (file transfered)-July 20 (notes ordered), Vienna has NOT started any of the 3 background checks... I would like to know what my file is doing just sitting there?? I would have been pleased to at least see 'In Progress' for 1...
