    Hi @mikeles666 you could send it to CIC office but then without reading the letter (what if they asked for more than fingerprint), it may delay your application even more.

    Yah the people who do your fingerprint need a copy of the letter that has all those information. Hopefully no one's stealing your mail.

    If there is match with someone who shares similar name and/or date of birth, they normally ask for fingerprints.

    Hi @jhandie0803 you can call RCMP and they will let you know when your fingerprint was processed and sent. Also RCMP sends the fingerprint information to CIC using a $2 regular mail. So it may take weeks before someone in CIC office receives and adds it to your file. As mentioned you can call...

    Hi @Outdoor yes it is normal. Infact the applicants who got test invites are (can we say) lucky. Also some offices are working faster than others. From March to August its only about 5 months. A regular applicant can get processed around 10-12 months.

    I got email. So it was same day. I don't think it would take 2 weeks to send a letter. Maybe wait few more days and then call them?!

    There will not be any update on ECAS. Also the timeline varies. It can be one month or even 3 months or more.

    @mikeles666 the Commissionaires...they r accredited with RCMP, and will take electronic fingerprints...keep us in the loop.
