Yes before they transfer the file to the visa office, you will get an email..but u can check status as well ..it will show up..

paper applications needs to be physically signed. imm 5669 is listed for signature required..refer page 10 of document checklist..i am afraid there is a possibility that they might send it back to u.. if they do, sign and send back asap.

did you try with the sponsor's uci? just out of curiosity... i tried everything, nothing shows up at all.

I ve seen in the cic website that photocopies are generally accepted unless an officer decides to verify and request for original signature..most probably yours will be ok..

biometrics not required until jan 1 2018.but i heard some of them were asked to do biometrics now along with aor. Thats bizzare..did they return just because you used one month old form? i sent the same october forms..its not reasonable
