The pre-arrival email is just a message offering "pre-arrival services" to the PA (i.e. courses and other information on how to find a job or language classes in Canada and integrate, etc). It's not really an essential step in the process for dependent child.

Yes that's what is worrying. But I have applied for TRV and received the same. So hopefully that will help my son to travel when the process happens.

Even New Delhi seems to be taking 5 to 8 Months for processing

Did you use a tracker service to check when the application was delivered and received by CIC. The application processing timelines for 10 months is usually from the date they have received it. I have been going through multiple timelines and it takes 1 to 1 and half months for AOR post the...
