Contacting them so soon will not help. They will only mention that it is within normal processing time. But the crazy part is why so much time for processing dependent children applications when they don't need any background check.

I am waiting for an update for my son's application since Nov 28 '2019 when Medicals passed. Its going to be two months soon.

Usually it takes one or two weeks for the medical results to be confirmed and updated

Did you raise a query if it has gone past the normal processing times. Not sure why for small children it takes so long.

Its just the outland PR applications that are taking an atrocious amount of time

Anyone got any updates on the PR processing for their dependent child. I am still waiting since Nov 28 '2019 for the next update.

They gave visa for my son till 2021 - multiple entry. So there is no such date requirement. You can apply anytime when you feel the need to travel. I had not shown any return tickets.

Waiting since November 28 '2019 for the next update after Medical is cleared. No news yet.

I applied TRV long before the sponsorship application since I wanted to bring my family to Canada. Only my dependent child needed the visa. There is no such thing regarding higher chance after sponsorship application.

Thanks for sharing your timeline. Mine was sent to NDVO on 2nd December '2019. Still haven't heard back from them. How did you find out when the processing started?
