Just to add, follow the checklist religiously. If you are not submitting any doc write an explanation on why you're not submitting it.

Today I got an update from CPC Sydney, saying that they are reimbursing 85$ that I paid for my new born biometric during the application. No more update, everything is same. In progress both sponsor and applicant.

After reading here I checked ECAS status. It just says recieved on July 27, 2020. Nothing more than that. Yes I was able to link application to my GCKEY account with help of webform request.
