I did my FP without any request from Ircc during my pr application but not sure if the FP agency requires a letter from IRCC to process in terms of citizenship.

Great! Even my BG got updated to completed recently. I hope to receive test invite soon.

My local office is Vancouver. I have noticed starting yesterday most BG pending applicants started getting finger print mail or had there status updated to complete. I can see there is some movment with June /July/Aug applications.

I'm just kidding. I know I will be a citizen one day but actually my application is was stuck for a very long time that's the only reason I commented. All the best..

If there was a RCMP back log we would have know by now. There would be a lot of people complaining about criminality check like they do in terms of security check through CSIS. So I doubt it's a backlog.

@royce110 Bro any update on your application? I remember yours was stuck with background verifications as well... My BG was set to complete today.

As per call center agent, my criminality was pending but security was complete. When ordered GCMS it showed criminality in progress but security section only had UCI,name,app no. That's it rest was completly blank.

July20 application received. 25th Jan in process.

My friends has moved multiple Provinces but they had a representative and his address registered with Ircc. They never changed there address with Ircc now they are citizens.

I keep myself busy at work and just try to forget about my application. Last few days I stopped worrying abt my application didn't even care to check the status. Then I got this surprise.
