Someone from early April 2020 got invited and passed the test.

Hey everyone, My application just went "In process" what does that mean? I don't think any of 2020 applications were invited for taking the test. I guess I should sit back and relax for next few months..

I read it too that person recieved her test invite and she also shared her timeline. So I had to believe it was 2020 July applicant and non urgent as well.

I don't think your son is eligible for citizenship unless atleast one parent was born in Canada. You can move to Canada and sponsor your kids but I don't think your kids get Canadian citizenship that way. I may be wrong so double check the information.

It's an error from CIC I never choose mail as a preferred communication option. How can they gave the same excuse to all of us from July... My call center agent was able to change it back to email if there is anything to communicate after AOR. Thanks

I remember putting my email address and email as a mode of communication but for some reason CIC agent told me that my communications were set to mail so I told th to change it back to email on the phone no web form needed.

Guys if your application shows up on ECAS your application is complete. You will receive your AOR shortly. My application status is the same one liner but when I called the call they gave me my AOR on the phone itself. I could access my application on ECAS through same AOR,UCI,PR card number...

Hey guy, Just a heads-up my correspondence option was changed to mail instead of email for some reason. ECAS shows just one line that my application was received in July.. that's it. So when I called CIC today I was told that AOR was issued already but it's in process of printing the letter and...

Guys CIC just started processing remaining of July applications you might be next probably first week of Jan. Just use your UCI number it should work if not you have to wait.

I got to know regarding my ECAS update from call center itself but when I asked them for my application number I was told I will have to wait.. Maybe first week of new years that's what she said.
