Called CIC today to check status on her new card. She landed on 17 Oct 2015. Was told that they sent a letter asking for new photos. As she is not in country was told not to send card by courier. Any thoughts ? Thanks

Can standard chartered nepal issue bank draft in Canadian dollars ? Have u checked with them or any bank in Nepal ? I thought banks in Nepal dont make drafts for large amounts in foreign currency.

Thanks ttrajan. Problem is though my mailing address is India, my residential address is Nepal. Vfis in Nepal is not working right now, so going to Delhi for stamping. Going thru vfs might take 3 weeks. Can't stay away from Nepal for long due to family committments. Any suggestions ? Thanks

Hello all Need an advise...have recieved PPR. Can i go straight to NDVO and get it stamped instead of VFS ? Saw on the forum that applicants from Nepal had gone directly at NDVO and got their PR visas stamped and it was returned within a day. Kindly advise. Many thanks
