I can’t believe I am here to finally share this. On the day my decision made celebrates 7months, I’ll have my oath ceremony! My husband was invited as well. So it seems that his application was holding mine back.

Me too!!! Hope we don’t get that far.

Something happened today, though. My husband and I were suspecting they were waiting to invite us both to the oath together. But his application still had some steps not complete. Today, everything moved to complete, except for oath, that didn’t start. Let’s see.

Hi all! I heard back from Mississauga office. Same BS about first in first out, covid delays. But I’m in queue for oath. I replied that there are people with decision made after me that had their oath already, which shows that fifo rule is not followed. Not sure they will reply again.

And that’s how it’s proven everything is random. My office is Mississauga too, test in March, interview in April, decision made on April 29th, and no oath invite so far.

Unrealistic. Priority is good enough for me.

I’ve been waiting for 6 months + 2 weeks.

They will not take any calls that are not priority. This is not priority. Same for webform, but I think it’s the only option.

Did you see we have a new Minister of Immigration, refugee and citizenship? Not that this gives me any hope, but I wish he can make things better.
