CRS Score totally different after submitting EOI

yeah, that's what is strange. graduated with a Bachelor's from a Canadian University. Here on a PGWP, with the same employer for almost 3 years since graduation. Even went back to review my EOI, and re-enter any info. 381 CRS. No mention of points for Canadian Experience, even though I'm told...

CRS Score totally different after submitting EOI

I'm reviewing my EOI for CEC, because the ranking I got is far below the CRS calculator on the IRCC site, as well as several other calculators. In fact, I'm shocked at the difference. On the IRCC site / calculators listing my Canadian work experience as 1 year, I've gotten scores ranging from...

Is there a Limit to minimum working hours per week for Part-Time?

thanks, my employer is willing to clarify that if I do get an ITA; I think for my EE profile, I'll err on the low side and just claim 20/week to be safe that I'm not misrepresenting myself. Not sure if there'd be a significant increase in CRS points by inputting 25 hours as a safe average.

Is there a Limit to minimum working hours per week for Part-Time?

My work experience has been for the past 3 years in Canada with the same organization; however, the number of hours is variable depending on the workload at hand. It can fluctuate between 20-30 (or even occasionally 40 in OT) and has for months at a time been a minimum of 25. Not sure whether I...

    FBI Channeler while in Canada

yeah, very interesting indeed, glad to hear about this since I'm at that stage, may save myself some money after all!

    Foreign Work Experience

Hmm, maybe not. Seems odd they wouldn't validate work experience that relates to the work position I've had here since graduating; that was 7 years at that position, and it was the last job held before returning to school, and subsequently entering the work force here. Then again, much of the...

    Foreign Work Experience

oh definitely not going to lie about dates. I was just wondering if anyone knew whether the stipulations for the 10 year range were something they'd assess differently under the CEC vs. Skilled Worker...I mean, the school duration plus the Canadian employment experience kinda eats up a huge...

    FBI Channeler while in Canada

Exactly. I'm only doing this because I don't want to risk rejection because I have such little time before my PGWP expires, that I have to bite the financial bullet in the name of expediency. That convoluted process I described was my workaround because I found no solid info on whether there...

    Foreign Work Experience

I'm wondering if anyone here has had a similar question. I'm hindered on my CRS by my age, and of course trying to build up points wherever I can. Prior to my coming to Canada for school, I had experience which I'm trying to relate to my current job position, at the advice of a consultant...

    FBI Channeler while in Canada

Well, my rough calculation is $40 CDN for the fingerprinting, $50 US for the channeler's fees, and in my case, $80 for Fed Ex express delivery, both to the channeler then from an address in the US back up to me in Canada. That said, I spoke with the owner of Global Fingerprinting in Vancouver...

    FBI Channeler while in Canada

No; my understanding is that there are no legit FBI approved chanelers in Canada, so I'm getting my prints done here in Vancouver, mail them to a US channeler, have the FBI report sent to my parent's house in the US, who will then mail them to me. In the end, not the most cost efficient way, but...

    FBI Channeler while in Canada

Thanks for the reply-of course, as with most of the process, some extensive digging around led to the discovery that I could have it sent c/o of myself to an address in the US I still have family at, and then can have them mail it to me here in Canada.

    FBI Channeler while in Canada

From what I have read a channeler will not send your results to anyone else other than an attorney, whom you must specify in your request. Anyone have experience otherwise? I'm not in a position for a day trip across the border, and don't have the time for what it seem like the standard FBI...
