PR Inland Landing appointments/interviews affected by Covid

Did you try explaining through a LoE, or simply adding the PR landing letter, to give the reason why the CoPR isn't signed? I applied online for a change of SIN status, and submitted my passport, CoPR (unsigned), and PR landing letter. I received a letter with new SIN by mail in 8 days.

Also, to have an idea, there is a tracker about cards on immitracker. https://myimmitracker.com/en/ca/trackers/consolidated-pr-card-tracker

The first PR card processing time as of June 16 was 113 days. I think only @Mria has received, because it was an early application.

That's right. The start date of PR card application is the same of PR landing email. When linking your application, make sure to use the same spelling for place of birth from your CoPR. They differentiate capital letters, and sometimes you have to add a state or province abbreviations, e.g...

You have to re-register with new SIN. I called CRA, and the agent sent by email a security code for registration. All the history from previous SIN is transferred.

Has anyone else other than @Mria received the PR card? Or has anyone had an update on PR card application on myaccount?

Thank you for sharing your info. It was a lot faster than the 100+ days deadline indicated in the IRCC website. :D Did you link your PR card application to your account? If so, did you notice any change before receiving the card by mail?

PR Inland Landing appointments/interviews affected by Covid

So far, there is no consensus in the responses from this thread. Some of us sent both client and IRCC copies of CoPR, some sent only the IRCC copy of CoPR. Some signed them, others didn't. No one knows what works, because, currently, PR cards are taking over 100 days to be sent. One thing for...

I have! I sent CoPR (client copy) unsigned, passport, and PR letter, as a proof of address and to clarify the unsigned CoPR. I got an updated SIN in 8 business days by mail.

Normally, you become a PR when you activate your PR status, i.e., when you land in Canada if you're outside of Canada. That's when it starts counting the "730 days out of 5 years" rule to keep your PR status.

I don't think so. As of May 26, the processing time of first PR card is 108 days. so we'll only start seeing some cards by July/August.

    COPR and coronavirus

No, I haven't yet. I linked my PR card application to my IRCC account, and there is no update. As of May 19, the processing time for first PR card is 113 days, so we'll only start seeing some card probably by August.

I'm finally PR of Canada! I’d like to thank everybody here for their support and for sharing their experiences with me—it has made the very long, stressful process of applying for Permanent Residency a more bearable experience. For those still going through, or just starting, on their journey I...

It took me 8 business days, from the date I requested online, to receive the SIN letter (no card) by mail.

For me, it took 8 business days (requested on April 27 and got the letter on May 7). According to Service Canada, it can take up to 20 business days. By the way, mine came in an envelope with handwriting, probably because agents are working from home and don't have access to printers. ;)

I didn't write anything on CoPR. I just put it in an envelope with the photo, wrote the addresses on the envelope, and sent it.
