You could have got a years worth if you were in Canada before you became a PR... but the complications of calculating residence with all those options is probably what called for long processing time...

Tests are the responsibility of the Judge as well. The judge decides which questions are to be used... so if Ottawa relies on a borrowed judge, it might work for ceremonies, but for tests? May be somebody else manages tests for the first 3 weeks.

No questions/ documents (even passports) asked about kids. I did take all the documents with me anyway. Have them but do not show them unless asked for (true for any document)

Just checked our eCAS and surprised to find DM and oath invite for Nov 26 10:30 am... Happy!! So eCAS may not update to DM right away yet you may still get the oath invite within 2 months as told at the interview...

You will have a reply if your CO was on this forum for sure. Do you know your CO is on this forum? That is your real Million Dollar question.

All done! No oath yet coz, either the CO handling your case is on extended vacation or that the file was sitting on a wrong pile... ATIP request might get u the oath since somebody must have moved the file to the right pile...

It all depends on when you were called for test and what the CO could see on the file. If the security clearance was done and they found a match, FP would be requested, and the CO could have seen it. In our case probably the security clearances was not done, based on my last ATIP report...

Fingerprint requests are asked if something in your details (name/ DOB/ address) matched up with some of the database... but if that's the case, it usually doesn't seem to delay by much... may be 3-4 weeks or did u say that the FP would take 2 weeks just to reach CIC? Make sure to get the...

What does your ATIP report say? Calling CIC is mostly a waste of everybody's time...
