hi Samatha the standard processing time after you receive file number is 3 months. you should contact OPNP by mentioning file# and ask for update or if they need any documents etc. as the recommended time has elapsed already in your case. Can you please provide exact dates? Applied for OPNP...

hi any senior member can provide more info. but what i have heard you might be asked questions and you should be prepared and provide well balanced answers or evidences of what you have been doing in the period you were absence.

and btw you dont have to update anything in study permit. if you are in canada call service canada and inform them...you can inform immigration when you are entering canada i did same and was able to get updated my status last year.

hi , did you sent email to cic and provided the update or a mail to cic with info and letter regarding the status update? search for status update forms on cic website or search in this forum and type " status change or update" and you can then scan through results....
