That is not totally correct. You will have to declare this everytime you want to enter the US and it will be on your record with the US immigration. It doesn't mean that future travels will be impossible but saying that there is no impact is a bit far fetched. You will have to explain this...

It seems like things are moving on your end which is good! Which country are you from? That will mainly determine if they put you in SS or not. You can also give IRCC a call and ask them for the status of your eligibility, criminality and security if you want some peace of mind.

Landed: July 27th in Aldergrove, BC Application linked: August 8th 23 days later, still waiting and showing "Submitted" :(

The average processing time for first PR card just went down to 12 days! I've landed on July 27th and still nothing to date after 18 days :(

When I got PPR I thought that all the waiting was over but nope haha. Seems like this journey is going to be a long one until the very end!
