Hello everyone,

I'm preparing to submit my online application this weekend.

I meet the physical presence requirement (1115 days) but I've had an absence of 11 months in the last 4 years. During those 11 months, I traveled to multiple countries but never stayed in a single country for 183 days in a row.

Do I need to provide police certificates for all countries visited during that year? Or just list them all under Reason on the Physical Presence Calculator?

Yes, I spent 11 months traveling to multiple countries. Never stayed in a single country for 183 days though

I have seen In other forum that all November 2021 got the aor in the last week of January 2022. Both paper and online.

Hi everyone,
Hope you all are doing great!
I have already drafed my online application and will be submitting it today or tomorrow.
I have couple of questions (I apologize in advance if they seems silly)if you guys can share your advice/input please.

1.) Before coming to Canada as a PR in 2018, I travelled to 3 different countries on paid and arranged vacation from my employer. I don’t even know if it was on ‘visitor visa’ or ‘Tourist visa’. I have stamps on my passport and for all of these 3 visas, it says different thing.
For Malaysia, it says - Multiple entry visa, valid for 90 days.

For Indonesia, it says - Tourism purpose only. Valid for 30 days.

For UAE - it doesn’t say what kind of visa it is. It says - 96 hours. In notes section, it says -
validity of permit - 60 days from date of issue, Duration of stay - 96 hours from the date of entry.

What should I select in ‘status’ for these visas under ‘immigration and citizenship’ section in online application ?


2.) I worked for Walmart for 2-3 weeks when I was new to Canada but I don’t remember the exact dates and don’t have any reliving/experience letter from them either. Any suggestion about where Can I find this info (CRA or service Canada account)?

Planning to file my citizenship soon as i am already eligible from July 2021. I have a generic question though if any of you could help. Also, pardon my ignorance if this is not the right page.

Ques: Do traffic violations affect citizenship application?

In last 6 months I was once caught driving without license and was fined(i forgot my wallet and the license at home that day) and a few weeks back I got a ticket in my mail for over speeding. The ticket was addressed on my name but I understand that it wont be linked to my DL. It's my first speeding ticket in 4 yrs in Canada. I have challenged both for a trial and they are in pending status.

Any idea if these 2 things can affect my application? The motive here is not to decide my driving habits based on answers, but to be aware of potential of speeding tickets etc. Thanks in advance.

Hey folks, I need some clarity on some of the errors I made on my application.

Physical Calculator was prepared until the 19th Jan 2022 (as I was planning to apply on the 19th). However I submitted the application on the 29th as I had to travel to India urgently on the 19th itself.

The issues or shortcomings on my application:
- Application submitted on 29th
- Physical Presence Calculation is till 19th (of course I am eligible even on the 19th)
- When they asked for City where the application was signed, I wrote Mississauga instead of Mumbai

What I need clarity on:
- Would my application get rejected? And if so, would I get a refund?
- Or would they request me to re-upload the physical presence calculator?

In the application, did the Jan applicant said "NO" to tax filed for 2021 and "YES" to had to file for 2021? Also, what is $630 is the correct fee for single applicant?

I selected a NO and YES on the 2021 tax filing.
