Our application was started in november 2013... Medical, passport request, and rights to permenant residence fee was requested in december 2013... All was completed by january 2014...... My wife had 2 further medical requests and completed them june 30.... Today I just checked the status again...

When immigration office posts " medical received" does this mean everything else has been done already? Like background ect.? My status just changed to day to read " medical received" Thank you

Same as you.... All documents have been sent in and she finisher her further medical along time ago but the clinic just sent the results to immigration on may 9...... So here we sit and wait and wait and wait... Lol have a good day and keep in touch Rich

Yes... We had to get a police clearance from Singapore... Go to the cic website and click on police clearances, then click on sinapore and it will give you complete instructions and forms. A please note if you try and call singapore police for status updates.... They never answer the phone...

If you are the one applying for visa to come to canada.. You must fill out the forms... Your spouse must fill out different form to sponsor you.. Hope this helps

As far as I know If your sponsoring your spouse its not required

Im guessing that your first medical expired... Its only valid for 1 year

Yes I sent reciepts 2 times now... One in february and one this past monday.... I printed the reciept from the cic website... So that tells me its in their system.. Why cant the bozos just look... Lol... Very frustrating all of this...

She just finish her further medical last week.. Everything else on our part is complete... Just waiting... But the other day cic sent me request foe" rights to permenent resident fee" but I already paid it in february of this year... I dont know what there doing... They never bother to reply to...

I only understood part of your question cause parts were not all in english... But from what I understand you want to change your mailing address. You can do this from the cic website ( where you check the status of your application. Hope this helps Rich

As far as I know there is no fiancee visa for canada.. Its my understanding that you must be married to apply for spousal visa. Chances are not good getting a travel visa if your fiance lives in canada... Immigration will asume you wont leave the country.... That was my experience
