Take it from someone who works in that field, all these express companies have been officially notified not to send out passports without approval of home ministry/foreign ministry/the whole lot!

When did he submit his passports? IF he hasnt done so, he might as well get an MRP and send SVO photocopies of that. It should take 8 weeks intotal at max to get back passports from svo after sending.

This article is completely wrong - VFS has 3 outlets where they will collect the Passports's and most likely they will send it to SVO for processing. No processing will take place in BD!

All i can understand from this is, the passports havnt reached SVO from CHC Dhaka! Which is really a messy situation, please go to CHC Dhaka asap and check on where they have misplaced your passports. Remember to carry all the relevant papers. Good luck.
