For me on ecas it show we started processing your application on Dec 6. On new tracker shows background check completed but there is no update regarding the FP request sent or FP request rec’d. Is this normal???

Ok congratulations and yes you are A Montreal applicant! I got FP request and submitted the next day my BG check was completed. Will I get test request, but I see it’s different for everyone. No predictions I think working!
