I hope it works out for you as you planned. Why does it take so long to get the certificate? When you had your Oath did you get the timeframe and were you given instructions on what to do next and if in case you don't get the Certificate as per the dates what will be the options. I am curious...

Don't worry too much with remembering all dates. Also, you will have plenty of time to go back to the questions you are not sure about. I took test in the begginign of this week. I had True or False type questions too. Hope this helps and all the best...

Congratulations!! I know you can apply for Express passport service so you can get it in a week or two. However, to apply for passport you have to have the Citizenship Certificate. I see in other threads that people are waiting for there Certificate after the Oath ceremony for 3-4 weeks...

May be. Yes, my test status is updated to complete. It was done today.

I applied from Toronto as well (Online application) and I got my test invitation from Montreal as well (email id reads as DN Cen MTL C-------). Does this mean my file was sent to Montreal? and I wonder why?

I and my husband apply almost together. He applied 15 days before me. and he did not get test invitation and I got the invitation.

You can have an interview when you are outside of Canada. But you cannot take an Oat Ceremony - When outside of Canada.

In online Oath ceremonies- ppl in this forum shares that they will make you cut your PR card. So are you travelling outside of Canada? if yes, so to return back to Canada you will need your PR card. If you travel on ur current passport (NOT CANADIAN) going out of country will not be an issue but...

@jv35: I took my test yesterday, and I am outside of Canada. So go ahead and write that email with ur UCI & APP and dates stating you are outside of Canada. Don't delay on taking your test. What is your timeframe on the Test?
