Yes, I have a friend too. But I am not sure how she did it... Maybe emergency reasons. Did you know that they are allowing you to borrow your old passport? Just tell them you still need it. You can only get your new passport if you returned your old passport. You just have to sign something.

For all those who are in the waiting list, I hope and pray that you guys will receive PPR before the end of 2016. Or sooner than that. :-)

This is what I thought as well. But base on the current trend, it does not matter at all. Applications differ from one to another, example if you have lived in few different countries, or stayed in multiple addresses in the past 10 years, background check will take longer. Additional documents...

You can apply for BOWP... As long as your nomination certificate doesn't have employment restrictions.

I had a bad experience as well... I documented everything, like what time, where, and names of the witnesses... Details of harassment, physical or verbal and racist comments or jokes... But we're friends now... But I reported it to HR...

Me too October applicant here... I wanna visit my family next year... And yes, I want to have a different job. I have have open WP though, but I don't wanna leave my employer because they might ask for another documents, because 2 weeks ago they requested my background declaration form
