I also sent an email to Mrs. Shelby Thevenot asking if there was any chance for her to contact IRCC and request a score breakdown of the 501+ candidates, so we can have an idea where we stand. I told her that her work will not go in vain because it would generate a lot of interest as an article.

Those are not your typical CEC candidates. To be in the 540+ range you are truely a high skilled worker and you certainly rank high in all evaluation parameters. When you get to the 501 - 510 range, then the quality of the candidates tends to fall, and so on. Plus, this break down from the IRCC...

For the moment, there is no indication for specific draws, so let's stay on this course. Moreover, candidates above 501, which IRCC is conducting the draws are either French speakers, Canadian graduates or CEC, so they are actually having the diversity they are aiming for.

If they conduct a CEC-only draw this year, FFFF them. The majority in the 501+ pool is CEC, so if thats not freaking enough, again FFFF them. Kubeir and the gang know sh!t about what is going to happen, I mean absolutely nothing more than us. They just read the news and interpret them based on...

In my humble opinion, I believe they will drop. Conservative view: Draws increasing up to 2,500 per draw, with 450-500 candidates added each time above CRS 501. Optimistic view: Draws increasing up to 3,500 per draw (returning to pre-pandemic levels as mentioned before in the memos I believe)...

To be clear, you could understand individual words or sentences much much earlier, but you would struggle to understand the whole picture. So, by the 10th I was able to comprehend the topic, some more details, different synonyms of words I already knew, etc. Like the word "Oui", which most of...

To tell you the truth I started listening to videos that had only conversations, probably extracted from a book somewhere and than I began to listen the French presidential political debates. It was a way for me to enjoy and learn French at the same time, plus you understand the everyday...

I am absolutely certain that the vast majority of candidates that will be added above 501 are CEC, but I am having a hard time placing them in the 520+ range. Reason is simple, CEC provides 50 points and a CEC with 470-480 has to have a CLB 9 minimum. One other thing is that I was expecting...

Hey @mushymush You think we got a chance to receive an ITA in August ? Those 1,100 candidates added in two weeks decreased a lot my expectations.

You made no pessimistic assumption, no one could predict an increase of 1,100 candidates above 501+ points in two weeks, its impossible to comprehend. The next draw will likely be 2,000 and hopefully is in the 529 - 533 range, unless there is another surprise of 1k of candidates added again. I...

If they continue with this pace (3-4k a month), it is possible for all FSW to be processed by the end of the year. PNP have their own quota, so don't worry about them.

18k people FSW are nothing to IRCC. Its like 1 month draw they did for CEC last year. They probably represent 10k ITA. I am hoping they increase the draw size today.

One thing I am dead sure about is that all occupations in need by provinces would be included and French will have its own spot there. Any thing else, would be just high speculation. You never know until they express it in writing.
