If they get interview request, you definitely can help them as a interpreter, language and knowledge test is exempted for a person age of above 55.

Processing time start once they receive the application not the AOR, if it's online then time start same day you submitted if paper then it will start when they receive your package on their office. Hope it's help.

My AOR was May 16, 2023.

Now normal process time is 15 months, so if not finalize within 15 months, then you can contact IRCC through webform, MP etc, but in this situation just wait patiently, can't do much else.

Seems like we are only two online from Saskatoon office, hopefully they (Saskatoon IRCC office) will do finish our application quickly, since they don't have much applications.

In person interview is always good sign and hopefully you will become a Canadian 4-8 weeks.

Let's not wish for that, still optimistic and hopefully everyone will become Canadian citizen before April 2024.
