This waiting game is driving us NUTS!!! I can’t believe that I’m still waiting to receive my Citizenship Certificate!!! It’s been more than a month since I took the Oath on August 18th 2022…still nothing!!! No certificate received yet!! I just called IRCC and I was very frustrated.

why does it take so long? If it’s been mailed out on September 9th, it’s Been two weeks already…you should have received it by now

Oath done on August 18th 2022…Still waiting for my Certificate! Booked an appointment on October 3rd at Service CANADA for passport application….thinking of cancelling my appointment since I still haven’t received my certificate.

Anyone else received Citizenship Ceritificate today? Who had their Oath on August 15th or August 18th?

Still the same answer…. “After the ceremony , there is a delay of 4-8 weeks to obtain both the certificate and subsequently a Canadian passport.” I’m so tired of waiting

I’m calling IRCC now…this waiting game has to STOP at some point. Some of us in this forum had their Oath Ceremony early September and they’ve already received their Certificate…Not to mention that passport processing time is as painful as this whole process has been.

Typical IRCC reply… “Hello, after the ceremony, there is a delay of 4-8 weeks to obtain both the certificate and subsequently a Canadian Passport. Thank You”

I just emailed them now, waiting for their reply…
