I believe the biggest issue is the eligibility, if you;ve cleared that then you are in good shape. The background and security shouldn't be a problem (unless you have some criminal issue or misrepresented something very obvious). So it is somewhat rare to get rejected later on.

i think somebody on this thread with AOR Oct 16(or 14th?) got MEP on Nov 20. That means 34 days. So add 34 days to your current AOR date to get a rough idea of the date you should see a status update. Assuming current rate of processing.

for Oct 31st expect somewhere in the first week of december
