Which line did you call? I applied for first GCMS in early November 2022. Then applied for second notes in early Jan. Did not receive any of them.

This is true. If I didn't have LPP complete I would be moaning and complaining about that. I guess I just want this process to end now.

Waiting for oath after everything else is complete is so irritating. I got my LPP completed on early March and then have been checking the portal every day since hoping that the oath will start to show in progress.

The agent is bs'ing. Fingerprints request doesn't mean that its non-routine application. My wife applied 3months after me as a paper applicant, and she got FP request. We sent them FP in 2 days. They updated background check after 7 months. We're now both waiting for oath separately with...

When we put in an application in August, the average time was around 7-8 months. So we were expecting something in March. Medicals have been completed since Feb 2nd but no updates since. I suppose you should expect to last at least 9 months. If it comes faster, it will be great.

That's amazing. Hats off to you. This is extremely helpful. I am also really impressed by the fact that you were able to use Artificial Intelligence (ChatGPT) to significantly enhance your productivity. I am also trying to figure out how to use ChatGPT to improve my own productivity. All in...

Congratulations. That's a long time. I am glad this ordeal is coming to an end. How did you manage to file the mandamus yourself and did you find out what the issues was? Was filing the mandamus really time consuming? Was it a difficult process? I think other members will benefit from your...

You're lucky that they actually sent you the GCMS notes. I applied for them twice, first in early November and then in early January. Never got them.

Yeah, the understanding used to be that PPR arrives within a couple of weeks of medical done. I am approaching 8 weeks now and not a peep from IRCC.

I believe I saw some folks getting their oaths rescheduled. It didn't take too long in those cases. If I recall correctly they rescheduled that person under 2 weeks. But from what I understand there is no guarantee when you will be rescheduled

Unfortunately there is no set timeline. Varies all the way from 1 week after LPP complete to 6 months. Most people get oath invite between 1 - 2 months of getting LPP done.

A bunch of folks in Niagara Falls office have gotten a ghost update in March (after getting their LPP done the same month). I am wondering if they are lining us up for an oath? I think I am being super optimistic

Yes, yours seems to follow a few days after mine. unfortunately no progress on my application after LPP. Oath hasn't moved to in-progress. My family's application has also reached the LPP stage (more like my wife's application because kids only have prohibitions completed). I am guessing we...

Yes, you can travel while waiting for oath. I think technically you are supposed to inform IRCC if you travel for more than 15 days, but for all practical purposes you don't have to, especially if you can make it back to oath without any problems.

No, non-routine applications usually take more than the average time. And just because your time is more than average doesn't necessarily mean that application is non-routine, you need things like GCMS notes to figure out or communication from IRCC to suggest that yours is non-routine. Currently...
