Could be because how you may have mentioned your travel history. While mentioning your leisure Singapore visits, what was the base country used? Probably they are using your Nov’2017 visit to Singapore as first day and US visit as a vacation one. Evaluate the travel history..

I guess after MEP each application takes its own route - timelines vary significantly from here..some gets in 1 month and some takes longer

Too early now. Still 22-23rd October AOR is reporting MEP. Guess another 7-10 days before 1st week of November AOR starts reporting MEP

CIC website mentions pcc from ANY of the 7 emirates is okay - so you can approach dubai, as they have the simpliest procedure to apply pcc

You may need to create a new profile with her as PA. However you can have both the current and new profile active, as such no harm
