I hope this new policy on medical exam exemption for in land applicants will give some relief to the applicants with expired medical exam and hopefully processing too...
If the instruction letter/email says you have to redo medicals then you have to do it. For extension usually it reflects in your account that you passed medicals
I am waiting to hear from past 7 months (medicals expired in Nov 2020), no news. I have got various advices, some say go ahead and get it done some say wait. IRCC agent say to wait, most likely it will be extended. So, I am waiting.

Same thoughts! I don’t find any trends by any means, looking at their nocs, these are neither prioritized noc not listed in recently announced TR to PR stream as well so I don’t understand what’s going on at IRCC.
Hi I am very much in situation like yours and pretty similar timelines AOR 20-Jul-20, no updates after 24-Sep-2020. No progress and no ghost updates. :(
I don’t understand why some files are hanging and others are processed in no time. Its clear that there is absolutely no standard policy/protocol followed for processing applications by officers.
