I think you are right. I linked the application to GC Key after receiving the biometrics as well as medical request emails. Now in the Gc Key account it says Applicant information "Date of Biometrics Enrolment: April 1, 2019 Expiry Date: April 1, 2029" and in Details about your application...

Hi, just wondering what's "biometric passed" means! In my GCKey account it says Biometric given: 1st April 2019 and valid until 1st April 2029, nowhere it says biometric passed. and in the status it says Biometrics: We do not need your fingerprints. We will send you a message if this changes.
