I'd be in a hurry to return back to work within 3-4 weeks. I do not have the CoPR just yet, just a PPR request from a few days ago. Showing intention to marry at this point would still put the case on hold correct?

I can most certainly do that but there is a restriction on traveling after flagpoling as a PR until I get the PR card no? My work permit will not longer be valid after landing as a PR correct?

Question - When they stamp a single entry visa to your passport along with the issuance of CoPR, do they not cancel your existing work visa? Could you have landed on your valid work visa instead of the CoPR since your family composition was changed?

I do. I reside in Canada on a work visa for the past 9 ish months.

Oh and btw, the Review of Additional Documents went to 'Not Applicable' right around the PPR. Everything else on the status remains. Your PPR is next my friend!

Yes, that is what I am thinking. And I will raise a CEC as soon as my status changes.

I'm pretty sure there wouldn't be any problems entering without the CoPR after getting married (on work visa).

Thanks. From what I have learned from the forum is that if the status changes after CoPR and before landing, one would not be able to land until the spouse's documents are send/reviewed and both are issued a new PPR/CoPR. I don't know how true it is though! Thanks for all your comments.
