I was out for a while and somebody decided to pickup my application from the registry, lol!! Got Test invite and FP request update in tracker today. Test window July 9 to 29. Yet to receive an email regarding both. May not get to do the test until the very end due to travel.

There is a difference in yours vs his. Your status may read as "Fingerprints Required". Here it says "..Requested". It means they are waiting for results. In your case, they are yet to be requested!

This common name theory is a sham!. To buy time, IRCC can choose any application to be non-routine triggering FP request in most cases.

My gcms notes show FP required, but haven't received yet. Still waiting for any letter/email.
