Hi, Can I sponsor my parents for permanent residency? I read somewhere that Parents Grandparents sponsorship is through lottery and that the IRCC is now processing application from 2020 or something like that. Is there any other way to sponsor parents? Thanks!!

For the eligibility- doesn’t the form while submitting asks two questions: are you a PR and are you in Canada. I didn’t see anywhere in the form where it says RO compliance while submitting the application. Not sure though

Yes, it says background check under progress and review of eligibility to sponsor under progress.
