Principal Applicant (Inland) Dependent (Outland) during COVID-19

They said "Since this is your first PR card, the process is already marked as 'urgent'". However there is no progress after 4 months and I was wondering if there are any other possible issues such as my spouse has not landed yet.

Principal Applicant (Inland) Dependent (Outland) during COVID-19

Hi @legalfalcon I received CoPR as inland PA around late August, but still haven't seen any progress on PR card. Is that because my outland spouse hasn't landed yet (although the visa has been issued and the whole PR application has been approved)?

Even if they approve it you will still suffer by long waiting time.

For anyone who got their case approved, have you noticed that PA's biometrics are only valid for a couple of months, while dependent's biometrics is expired already?

Principal Applicant (Inland) Dependent (Outland) during COVID-19

Any one noticed the validity of biometrics is void or about to be void after receiving approval? My biometrics was valid until 2030, however, once my outland spouse received counterfoil and the case is finally approved (after 17 months), my biometrics expiration date was changed to sometime...

Hi, may I ask if you see the status in the PR portal turns into "Accepted"? Mine is "In review with IRCC" and has been kept in this status for two months.

If you are in Canada and had received eCoPR, for youself you don't have to send anything. There will be a second follow up letter after the RFV letter, saying that "Even though the previous letter was addressed to you, the content of this letter is intended for your accompanying family members...

Principal Applicant (Inland) Dependent (Outland) during COVID-19

Bro, don't do that. As you've already received eCoPR, you have already officially become PR. In this case, they won't re-issue another CoPR for you in India. Instead they'll ask you to apply for PRTD, or in a worse case, to revoke your eCoPR. It is a bit longer than usual for PR card processing...

Principal Applicant (Inland) Dependent (Outland) during COVID-19

Thank you! To confirm, yes there is a description in STEP2 saying "If your passport is from a country whose citizens need a visa to travel to Canada, you will need to submit original passport(s) for you and each accompanying family member. " So this part is the same for your pre-pandemic PPR...

Principal Applicant (Inland) Dependent (Outland) during COVID-19

Thank you @legalfalcon My question is, whether my dependent can use this "Ready for visa" letter (their names are not shown on this letter) to submit their passport, or I have to raise a webform to tell IRCC that I as PA is in Canada and a different letter for dependent should be issued? Thanks.
