Asking for RPRF is good sign for your parents' application. As you are not in the tracker, I don't know what stage is your application in? Is medical already done?

To receive CPP, parents have to contribute until their retirement but they can get old age security once they fulfill residency obligations.

@Xoo another reply on your query. Most probably your dad's medical will be passed but only IRCC will decide that. Don't worry and make your father attend the medical test.

Your question can only be replied accurately by the IRCC medical review team. You have already received positive opinions from the forum members. Just do medical when requested and wait for the result.

The passport request letter must have sufficient details.

Unfortunately IRCC does not issue any letter for DM2. This I think is only Ontario issue. In BC, there is wait period of three months including for seniors.

Keep at least three hours for the immigration processing. More than three hours may be comfortable. Sometimes the CBSA desk is short-staffed and may take quite long.

Most of us have sent a scan copy of the original PCC.
